Ohio Teacher Annual Cost Estimate

The following table shows an estimate of costs for Year 1 in the ISP Master's Program.

Tuition

All applicants accepted to the ISP will receive a scholarship covering 50% of tuition this year, and many will receive additional scholarship funds covering up to 100% of tuition costs. These coverages reflect a combination of the Ohio TEAM scholarship and the Choose Ohio First Scholarship (see details below). Second year tuition waivers will range from 33% to as much as 100%. Web-based courses do not qualify for TEAM or COF scholarship, however Miami University provides approximately an equivalent to 75% tuition discount for web-based course costs.

Miami University is now offering the Ohio Teacher Education Access at Miami (TEAM) Scholarship, which is designed to assist licensed K-12 educators working toward the MAT (or other graduate) degree and/or taking courses or workshops as part of professional development plans. Courses can be taken on any Miami University campus (Hamilton, Middletown, or Oxford). The Ohio TEAM Scholarship provides a 50% reduction of tuition and fees (instructional fee, general fee, technology fee, and Miami Metro Fee).
Any educator who meets these requirements will be eligible for the 50 percent scholarship:
• Educator is a full time teacher or administrator in an Ohio school district or school (public, private or charter).
• Educator holds a provisional or professional license or holds a standard certificate issued by the State of Ohio.
• Educator is a resident of the State of Ohio.
• Degree(s) or course(s) or continuing education workshop(s) is part of the educator's approved professional development plan.

Choose Ohio First Scholarship- STEM Teacher Enhancement Scholarship (*PDF form here)

The Miami Choose Ohio First- STEM Teacher Enhancement Scholarship will provide up to $2,500 per year toward tuition for Ohio’s high school and middle school mathematics and science teachers who want to earn an advanced degree or are considering coursework that will count toward a degree. This scholarship can be combined with the Ohio TEAM Scholarship to make your graduate education even more affordable. The requirements for Choose Ohio First Scholarship are the same as the Ohio TEAM scholarship (see above)
