Programmer in Interactive Media
Programmer in Interactive Media to design interfaces and software that run in either a web browser or in a desktop application; write code that allows that software/application to communicate with services over the internet.
Require: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field; knowledge of established programming applications and procedures; experience in interactive media studies or related field; experience developing object-oriented programming framework and Adobe Flex/Flash web applications; commitment to working in a team environment; willingness to develop new skills.
Desire: Experience in a number of programming languages, including Java, HTML/CSS, Ruby/Ruby on rails, Flash ActionScript/Flex, and SQL; interest in science, the environment, and public engagement at zoos/aquariums and museums.
